Hi Khristen, we’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience, and we’d like to clarify what occurred during your visit. You booked a same-day sew-in appointment and secured it with a deposit. The service was completed, with only the final step of lightly straightening the leave-out to blend remaining. A heat protectant was applied, and only a minimal pass was made before you expressed concern about potential heat damage. We made multiple attempts to accommodate you and address your concerns, including offering a different stylist. However, you did not want to come to a resolution with us despite these efforts, and no alternative solution was agreed upon. Regarding payment, the remaining balance was $138. You then reduced the amount you were willing to pay multiple times, from $138 to $100, and then to $80. Despite the majority of the service being completed, it became clear that you did not intend to pay the full price. Even after we agreed to accept $80, we provided three different Zelle options, and you were still unable to complete the transaction yourself and instead had someone else send the payment. As a hairstylist yourself, you are familiar with standard salon practices. Given how this situation unfolded, it raised concerns for us about whether this visit was handled in good faith. We strive to provide high-quality service while being fair to our stylists’ time and work. We appreciate your feedback.
