Regular Haircut

I’ve been coming to this salon for years and have always appreciated how friendly and welcoming the staff is. I know the owner well, and for a long ti...me they did an excellent job with short haircuts and fades. Over my last two visits (spanning about 6–7 months), I’ve been intentionally trying to grow my hair out. I clearly explained my goal, answered follow-up questions, and even showed photos and videos of what I was aiming for. Despite that, both times my hair was cut much shorter than requested. The first cut was frankly bad (very much a school-boy cut), and while the most recent one is technically a good haircut, it’s still not what I asked for and set back months of effort growing my hair through awkward phases. That’s been frustrating and disappointing, especially given how clear the instructions were. Based on my experience, they do great fades and short cuts, but if you’re trying to grow your hair out or want to preserve length, this may not be the right place. Show more
