Great cut, but not the best customer experience. My hair was left looking like a mess when the cut was done, I had to comb my hair myself with my hand...s, and had to ask the stylist to show me the back when he told me that the haircut was done. A nice little shop with a friendly atmosphere, awesome music playing and the barbers looked like they were having a lot of fun. Haircut isn’t exactl...y what I was hoping for, but I’ll admit I was pretty wishy washy and unclear on what I wanted, and too shy about making notes during the cut. I think I said “some sort of fade” and while the sides and back are shorter than the top, it doesn’t feel like anything I couldn’t have done myself with clippers at home. I’m satisfied with the work and only have myself to blame for what I don’t like. The shave left a lot to be desired, though. I wasn’t expecting a dry shave, and while a lot of my face is pretty smooth, there are some rough patches as well as some straight up long hairs that are bothering me that I’ll have to go over myself. ETA after owner’s reply: I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for this to come out so negatively. As I said, I acknowledged I didn’t say anything at the time and there was no problem on your end for the cut, I’m bad with confrontation and didn’t want to give the impression that I wasn’t appreciative of all of Jalen’s work. The shave I really didn’t check out until after I was home, and my only real issue with that is I was hoping beforehand that it’d be done with a razor Show more
