My skin has completely transformed, and I genuinely can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my... face, I suffered with quite inflamed / angry skin, and I mean the results speak for themselves with the transformation you have given me. She just gets my skin every single time. It is quite literally the highlight of the month having Laura go to town on my skin, every appointment feels like catching up with a friend, and somewhere along the way you have become exactly that, a friend for life. From the get go you took the time to get to know my skin and tell me what it needs to be improved, you are the best and I couldn’t recommend you enough. I’ve always been happy with my experience, but on my last visit after a long break there was no consultation at all. I booked a deluxe glow facial. A ...few minutes in, I heard a machine start which was micro needling (!) which I’d not booked or asked for. When questioned, the machine was switched off and she began dermaplaning, shaving my face - again I’d not asked for this but went with it as I felt a bit awkward. At the end of the appointment - which was scheduled for one hour but took 30 mins inc makeup removal - there was no noticeable benefit or ‘glow’, and there is still not, except some slight swelling from the dermaplaning, I think. I raised these issues but was just told my feedback would be taken on board - there was no suggestion of a refund, complimentary next visit or even discounted next visit by way of apology. All round quite disappointed and surprised, and despite Laura being a lovely person, given the way this poor experience has been handled, I wouldn’t rebook or be able to recommend.

I would like to clarify that at no point was microneedling carried out during your appointment. As you had previously received this treatment with me, I had prepared the device before discussing your treatment, but as soon as you queried it, I immediately stopped. I completely understand how this could have caused concern, and I apologised for the misunderstanding both during your appointment and in our messages afterwards.
The Deluxe Glow facial you booked includes both dermaplaning and microdermabrasion, which were carried out as part of your treatment. I also explained that I had chosen an oat-rich moisturiser to provide deep hydration and support your skin barrier, rather than a product designed to create an immediate glow, which is why the finish differed from your previous treatments.
I’m truly sorry the treatment didn’t meet your expectations, and I appreciate your feedback. I always strive to provide the highest standard of care and wish you all the best.
