Hi Katie, I’m sorry you’re disappointed with your experience. As you’ve mentioned, the hair used for the appointment was supplied by yourself, and I raised concerns during the fitting about how unusually thin/flimsy the weft was and the possibility of it slipping. When you contacted me, I initially offered to fit a different, thicker set of wefts you had supplied as a goodwill gesture. After reconsidering, I didn’t feel comfortable fitting further client-supplied hair when I couldn’t guarantee its suitability or performance, which is why I recommended having the alternative hair assessed by someone closer to you. I appreciate that the change to the follow-up appointment was disappointing and I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, as I cannot establish that the issue was caused by an installation fault rather than the construction of the supplied weft, I wasn’t able to agree to the requested £50 refund. I’m sorry we weren’t able to reach a resolution you were happy with and wish you all the best.
Hi Katie, I’m sorry you felt the need to edit your original review from “lovely person and professional” following a dispute regarding your fitting. The hair fitted was supplied by yourself, and during the appointment I advised that the wefts were very fine and may be more prone to slipping. I also took care not to place unnecessary strain on your natural hair. I initially offered to refit another set of hair supplied by you, but after reconsidering I did not feel comfortable doing so, as I cannot guarantee the quality or suitability of hair that I have not supplied myself. My priority is always the health of my clients’ natural hair and providing fittings I am confident in. I completely understand your frustration that the outcome wasn’t what you hoped for, and I’m sorry we were unable to reach a resolution that suited us both.
