FROM AGE 5 Parent info: please ensure your children understand that ear piercings do hurt. Please avoid describing it as "just a little pinch" as this can create unrealistic expectations and make the experience more difficult for your child. To ensure a positive experience for everyone: • I am happy to work with nervous children, but I will not pierce children who are crying, highly distressed, or refuse to allow me near them • Nervous children will be given up to 10 minutes to decide if they wish to proceed • This time limit is in place to avoid excessive delays for other appointments and customers My aim is to provide a safe, professional and positive piercing experience for every child. Please only book if your child is willing and ready to have their ears pierced. I appreciate that children often want their ears pierced because they like the idea of having earrings, or they want to be like their loved ones or friends. However, it is important that they understand that ear piercings do hurt. Parents should ensure their child is aware of this before their appointment, as I will only pierce children who are willing and are prepared to proceed. Lobe piercings take 12 weeks to fully heal so bare this in mind for when they return to school.
