Dermaplaning is a non-invasive mechanical exfoliation treatment performed with a sterile 10R surgical scalpel blade held at a precise 45° angle against the skin. Using short, controlled feathering strokes, your therapist gently removes the outermost layer of the skin — the stratum corneum — along with the fine vellus hair (commonly known as peach fuzz) that sits on the surface.

Unlike at-home exfoliation tools, dermaplaning is performed by a trained professional and targets a level of skin renewal that is simply not achievable with everyday products. Microneedling — also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) or percutaneous collagen induction — is a clinically proven skin rejuvenation treatment. A chemical peel is a controlled skin resurfacing treatment in which a professionally formulated acid solution is applied to the skin. The acid works by disrupting the bonds (desmosomes) holding dead and damaged skin cells together within the epidermis and dermis. This accelerates the natural process of desquamation — causing the outer layers to shed over the following days — and stimulates the production of new, healthier skin cells beneath.

The depth of penetration and the results achieved depend entirely on the type of acid used, its concentration, its pH level, and the number of layers applied.
