I hadn't been on the sunbed in a week, and stepping off it today reminded me exactly why I love this place. That warmth hitting your skin, the familia...r coconut smell filling the room, it genuinely felt like coming home. Little bit of sunshine on a dull day does wonders for the soul. Another lovely visit to The Sun Room today, I used the stand up bed for 9 minutes. As soon as you enter the room, the ambient lighting and the smell o...f coconut just makes it feel so relaxing. It's honestly such a treat, I left feeling great, so much so that I bought another 100 minutes on the spot. Highly recommend if you want a proper moment of calm as well as a nice glow.

I popped in for a quick 6 minute standup sunbed session, perfect start to a busy day when you still want a bit of indulgence. The room itself is lovel...y, spotless, beautifully styled and finished with a nice touch, everything felt fresh and well cared for. Came out feeling instantly relaxed with soft, glowing skin, and the after tan body lotion made it even better, leaving my skin smooth and moisturised. A Little Update on The Sun Room, Stourbridge
Since The Sun Room opened its doors on 27 July, I've become a regular, and I honestly can't stop thinking... about how this space has become my absolute sanctuary.
There's something truly magical about stepping into the salon, the moment you walk in you're enveloped by this serene, tropical atmosphere. But the real magic happens when you're lying on the sunbed. Those few minutes feel like a complete escape from the world. You drift away, completely weightless, as the gentle warmth wraps around you and the beautiful fragrance of the salon just lulls you into this blissful, meditative state. It's not just a tanning session, it's a proper pause, a moment to breathe and let everything else fade away.
The care and attention to detail is evident in every single thing, from the immaculate, inviting space, to the warm, welcoming lighting, right through to the fact that the team remember your name and genuinely want to chat. It's that rare combination of feeling truly looked after while being left to simply relax and drift.
I'm so grateful they honoured my minutes from before, which shows just how much they value their regular customers. This salon has quickly become part of my weekly routine, and honestly, I think it's because stepping through those doors feels less like a beauty appointment and more like coming home to somewhere that just makes you feel good.
If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favour and visit. You deserve this little slice of calm.

The door closes and the outside world goes quiet. The room is all soft cream and beige, warm wood tones, low golden light instead of harsh fluorescent...s. It smells faintly of coconut, clean and warm.
A member of staff greets you like an old friend, walks you through everything with a smile, then leaves you to settle in. You lie back on the bed, and it hums to life, warmth spreading over your skin like sunshine. Quiet ambient music plays underneath. Your shoulders drop. Minutes pass easily, golden light glowing faintly through closed eyes.
When it's done, there's a soft flannel to wipe yourself down, and a beautiful body lotion waiting to smooth over warm skin. You leave glowing,relaxed, golden, and genuinely looked after.
