I booked an appointment with Nicole & text her the day before to confirm & said I could come earlier if that suits her better so she wouldn’t have a g...ap in her day. She told me that’s perfect & told me what time to come.. I arrive at the salon & text her to tell her I was downstairs.. she sees my message & doesn’t reply. Another 10 mins pass by & a lady came down & asked what I was having done.. I told her I had an appointment with Nicole for lips, she tells me Nicole isn’t there & she will try to call her. She says Nicole isn’t answering & tells me she (the other lady) is there all day training other aestheticians so she can do my lips if I want. That was fine & I understand things happen (being sick or something happens) but the fact I travelled OVER AN HOUR to have them done by Nicole & paid a deposit & to not even be told earlier in the day that she won’t be there or even respond to my text when I am physically in the salon is so unprofessional and inconsiderate. Response to Nicole’s reply under review - The number I provided was my dads work phone as I don’t have a UK number due to moving over here from Ireland recently. A UK number was needed to book an app through booksy. I’ve asked my dad to check his phone for this message now & I can see that you did let me know earlier in the day so that’s my mistake & I apologise for jumping to conclusions but I was annoyed when I was left on seen via Instagram messages after saying I was downstairs in the salon & being told you weren’t there. I was contacted via email the last time my appointment had to be rescheduled & was talking to you about appointments & times via Instagram messages so I was not expecting a message to be sent to the phone number provided on Booksy. I was happy that the other lady was able to accommodate me. Note to self - get my own UK phone number to avoid situations like this Show more

Had an appointment booked for 01/07, got a message on the morning that it was cancelled. Then rescheduled to 04/07 and was told 2 hours before my appo...intment that it was again cancelled, and Nicole had already left the clinic. At this point I was already in Manchester unable to get any money back on my used trains. Still haven’t had a reply or my deposit money back, and no info on whether i’ll be reimbursed for the trains I got with no purpose. I understand unexpected back things happen but to not be notified sooner or have my deposits immediately is unprofessional. The situation is frustrating as if I had been the one to cancel twice on such short notice I would have had to pay no-show/ cancellation fees for wasting their time, but when it is their fault I’m left chasing for at least my deposit.
