I don’t know if my appointment was a one-off bad experience, but I didn’t feel that I got the service I would usually get at a beauty salon. I booked ...for a spray tan, when I arrived in time for my appointment (just as the salon opened) the beautician doing my tan wasn’t there yet which was the first red flag. After she arrived, the rest was pretty normal albeit rushed, she quickly sprayed me and then told me to dry myself with the air from the machine. When I did this, she didn’t tell me how long to dry etc, so I was waiting for her to pop back in to check-up but she didn’t. I put my clothes back on after about 5 minutes and went upstairs where the lady was now doing somebodies nails. I’m unsure as to whether she’d double-booked, or because she was late in she rushed my tan to see to her nail client asap, but I waited upstairs and she got up from her client to take my payment (or should I say give me her bank details) and then promptly sat back down and continued her nail appointment whilst I transferred the money. No detail was given about when I should wash the tan off or what to expect from the tan, I had to research myself at home afterwards. Whilst at home, I noticed that the palms of my hands and my finger tips were going super dark, so I washed this off sooner but I’ve still been left with dark stained fingertips. Now after washing the tan off it is definitely patchy, it isn’t as dark as expected (booked in for ultra-dark and I’d say it’s light-medium) although I’m sure it will probably develop more (I’m not sure actually because she didn’t give me any information, but I hope so). I do have big patches around my legs and stomach, and I did prep properly for the spray tan so I do put this down to the beautician. Just a bit of a rubbish service really, and a bad result as well compared to other tans I’ve had or even just the self tan I use at home. I wouldn’t recommend booking for a spray tan, but maybe if you book for your nails doing you will have attentive service. Show more

Gel Nail Repair From

Broke a nail, so booked the service to get one nail fixed. Got to salon 10 minutes earlier than my appointment, got told to take a seat, the nail tech... the whole ten minutes was just chatting with her colleagues, fair enough. After 10 minutes, she got in the seat and rushed the job and now my cuticle won’t stop bleeding, got a mild infection as well. At the end, she didn’t even put a drop of cuticle oil and said “all done” and I had to ask her for some. I have to put medication on my finger and keep my cuticle moisturised more often than before as it won’t stop bleeding.
