My appointment was 15 minutes late.. The owner Donna seemed like a nice lady and it was nice that the owner was talking to an elderly person about mak...e up for 15 minutes after she had finished cutting her hair which is why my appointment was so late.. You even arranged to personally take her make up shopping.. However I have chronic anxiety and find visiting hairdressers extremely difficult. Whilst I was waiting (and being ignored) I did pop right outside the shop and made a 1 minute call as I felt a panic attack coming on.. and I was talking to my husband who was trying to calm me down. I was really shaky when I got home. And now 2 weeks later having read your unkind reply it has caused me further needless upset and distress. Hairdressers don’t usually give free whole bottles of shampoo to their customers, if you had said it was free I would thanked you wholeheartedly, although not sure how long you would be in business if that is what you usually do.. You also mentioned Hair loss products and shine products, I did feel that I was being strongly encouraged to buy these products. I wouldn’t visit again for definite now because I have given an honest review and my opinion of my visit.. and have been belittled for giving it. if I hadn’t been asked for the review by the app so many times I probably wouldn’t have bothered to leave a review at all. But I do feel it is unprofessional to criticise someone for giving their opinion. You may not like it or agree with it but it is my opinion. Maybe if you had contacted me privately any misunderstandings could have been sorted I could have altered my review if you had given me the information that you were giving and not selling.. as you said you can also buy it online it didn’t appear to be a gift. I could have clarified, instead it’s just more angst. The tip was because you did do a good cut and I was pleased with it. People have Hidden Disabilities and would appreciate knowing if they are going to have to wait a long time in a busy environment. I would have liked to know and I could have gone somewhere else. I hope this is an accurate enough explanation, hopefully the feedback can improve Everyone’s experience at the salon. I have absolutely nothing to gain by giving you feedback, I wish you well. Hi Rosa. Thank you for your review however it’s very misleading. Whilst I agree the appointment was 15 minutes late, if I recall correctly upon your arrival I was finishing a disabled elderly lady, I then had to help her leaving the salon. You also went outside on the phone but that's surprisingly been missed out of your review. Prior to starting your hair you also said how lovely I treated the elderly lady. I didn't try and sell you anything, the shampoo I offered you was free of charge as I no longer keep that brand and the bottle was half empty. I actually asked you if you were okay for time and you said yes 'no problem at all'. You couldn't have been that unhappy as you gave me a tip. My advice to you in future regarding reviews would be to leave an honest and true reflection of your experience wherever you go. Many thanks, Touch Of Class.
