      This is particularly good for very matted cats or cats that need clipping short due to hygiene problems. The whole body is clipped short, leaving some of the tail on the end, a rounded head or partial mane on the neck and chest depending on preference. It is best to have a cat bathed when having a Lion Clip due to the oil in their skin leaving a very greasy residue on their fur when clipped off. But if the cat does not like a bath and it will stress them out to much I will use a foam based dry shampoo to freshen the coat along with tear stain remover to clean the face and eyes. 'Murder Mittens' will also be trimmed for your little lions!

    • Heavy Matting

      Skin Tight matting damages blades and tools and with an increasing amount of dogs arriving at the salon with very tightly matted coats I have no option but to implement a matting fee in order to replace tools and blades . Matted dogs have to be clipped prior to bathing which blunts blades that cost £50 a piece and replacing these weekly is not an option anymore. Not only is this hard on my tools and equipment but it is hard on your pet . Matt removal is uncomfortable for your dog and it takes extra time and care to ensure that your dog is dematted SAFELY and COMFORTABLY this increases your groom time and products used . Your dogs safety is my priority

    • Late Collection Fee

      I allow a grace period of 1 hour for late collections , as I am a 1-1 groomer I promote working with one dog at a time as I have quite a few nervous dogs on my books, I cannot have dogs overlapping in waiting areas into other appointments as this affects the atmosphere in the salon and also causes other grooms for the rest of the day to run late.
