Anti-aging. Good for sun-damaged and dull skins This facial offers the best in exfoliation, hydration and relaxation. An hour and 35 minutes of sheer pampering heaven. Step 1 – Makeup is removed first with a gentle makeup remover. Step 2 – Eye cleanse. This removes any remaining eye makeup and gives your lashes a thorough clean. Step 3 – A Zein Obagi facial cleanser is used to give your face its first cleanse, and at the same time giving me the opportunity to feel and assess your skin. Is it dry? Is it oily? What type of hydration does it need? Step 4 – Second cleanser is applied. If your skin is dry a gentle vegetable foam cleanser is used. If you have oily skin a cleanser with salicylic is used. Salicylic loves oil! Step 5 – Your skin is prepared for the dermaplane. An oil is applied to both your neck and face. The oil has been manufactured specifically for dermaplaning as it allows the scalpel to glide over the skin. It consists of shea butter, sunflower seed oil, evening primrose oil, carrot oil, macadamia nut oil, beeswax, rosehip oil and essential oils; geranium, mandarin, and smells divine. Step 6 – I work a few strokes, so you can feel the sensation of the scalpel. It’s surprising soothing. I work carefully over both your neck and face, in different directions, removing dead skin and hair. As I work I can actually feel your skin getting smoother. Step 7 – A toner is used to remove the oil and the face is dried. Your face is dried and then prepared for the Mandelic Peel. It will tingle, especially as all the dead skin has been removed. Step 9 – A hydrating mask is placed on the face. This mask is saturated with hyaluronic acid which is the ultimate hydrator. Your face and neck are massaged for 20 minutes through the mask. This is very soothing and very relaxing. Don’t be surprised if you fall asleep! The mask is removed and any remaining serum from the mask is removed. Step 10 – Moisturiser is applied and massaged into the skin. Step 11 – The treatment is finished with the application of SPF50.
