    40% Glycolic Acid Chemical Peel

    Glycolic Acid peels, more commonly known as skin peels or chemical peels are used to remove the outermost layer of the skin. The aim of the product is to create ‘controlled injury’ to the skin. This controlled injury creates a healing response from the skin which encourages collagen and elastin production, which is what makes the skin look firm and smooth. This percentage of Glycolic Acid can only be used by trained professionals: Doctors, Nurses, Dentists and Beauty Therapists (Level 4 and 5) with advanced anatomy and physiology qualification. A chemical peel is a great starting point for clients with active acne that aren’t ready for Microneedling. It’s also a great treatment for clients with ageing concerns that want to stimulate collagen production. A consultation and patch test is essential if you haven’t had this treatment in 6 months. You must have a consultation to assess wether your skin is suitable for a chemical peel.
