What personal information is collected and used by Booksy?

Users of our website remain anonymous until they decide otherwise. The information contained in system logs (e.g. IP address) resulting from the general rules of Internet connections is used by Booksy for technical purposes related to the administration of our servers. In addition, IP addresses are used to collect general, statistical demographic information (e.g. about the region from which the connection is made). Subscribing to Booksy requires filling out a form in which you must provide information enabling contact with the user (e.g. email address) and demographic information (e.g. gender). The information provided in the form is used by us to make necessary contacts with our users and to better adapt the content we present to their needs and interests.

It is possible to configure your web browser in such a way that it will completely disable the option of storing cookies on your computer's hard drive. Remember that the effect of such a change may be the loss of the ability to use some of the Booksy website's functions (logging in, previewing photos, etc.).

How is the information protected?

The form filled out by the user during signing up to Booksy, as well as the very process of authorisation (logging in) to our resources is carried out by means of coded sessions that will significantly increase the protection of data transmission on the Internet. Data such as profile access passwords are encrypted using one-way encryption algorithms that prevent them from being decrypted later. The information is stored and processed by Booksy with appropriate security measures that meet the requirements of UK law.

Is the provided personal information disclosed to other entities?

Booksy contains or will contain functions (e.g. reviews) in which the content entered by the user (e.g. content and signature of the opinion) becomes publicly available. The user may publish his content on these websites only after authorisation and he decides how to sign it.

The right to view, correct and delete user information

Booksy provides each user with a profile page accessible after authorisation. This site allows you to view, modify and delete personal information about you held by Booksy. In the event that the user finds this solution insufficient, they may contact Booksy in writing.

Freedom of choice

Booksy gives its users the opportunity to choose whether and to what extent they want to use our features and share information about themselves. Most of our functions are available without having to provide information about yourself, only some functions require signing up. Subscribing to Booksy is a voluntary decision of the user and he can at any time opt out and delete their profile.

Our goal is to provide the furthest protection possible. The development of technology and the development of Booksy's offer mean that our privacy policy may change, which we will inform about on these pages.
