      Hello! My name is Shaquita and I am a doula located in the city of Chicago but servicing the Chicagoland area. I have been professionally trained by one of the greatest doulas known to date!  I am a married mom of 4 children with my youngest at 2 years of age. They keep me busy and youthful, just like your new little bundle of joy will! I believe that this kind of support is needed for all families, and yes that is including yours! My overall goal is to provide, emotional, mental, and physical support to you and your partner. I will NEVER overstep my boundaries and will be your voice when it's a bit harder to speak.   I am also a licensed clinical massage therapist and will be providing professional services as part of your family's package! With my extensive knowledge of the anatomy of the body, I will provide relief to areas that are bothering you the most during labor. I was skeptical about intially...It was just what I needed! The entire experience was great. I'm trying now to figure out when I can get another one. ... The massage therapist was very professional and knew what was needed; excellent service, they actually came to my home and set-up everything. I DEFINITELY recommend "A Natural Mind & Body."

I found A Natural Mind and Body on Groupon, but within ten minutes of my first massage knew I'd found my regular massage therapist. Shaquita truly has... a gift for massage, but in addition she's friendly, confident, professional, and communicative--all the things you want in someone who works with your body. Day spa divas, be advised: this is NOT a froofy spa, but rather a private space in a plain Jane office building. The great part about that is that you're not paying froofy spa prices for a top-notch massage. I can't recommend A Natural Mind and Body enough, particularly for west siders/Oak Parkers/Forest Parkers/etc.

I cannot say enough great things about Shaquita and A Natural Mind and Body. I also found her through Groupon, but my first massage was so great and r...elaxing, I nearly fell asleep on the table! I knew this was a good thing and wasn't letting a little distance stand in my way. I know I can present any and all aches, pains, and tension and they will be massaged away by the end of my session. The aromatherapy and the great music - not your typical spa music! - just add to the wonderful experience. Nope, it's not fancy. It doesn't need to be when it's this good. It's also not a fancy price or too fancy to feel relaxed, which I totally appreciate. It's easy to pay online in advance of my sessions and it's WORTH. EVERY. DIME.

I wish I could give her a million stars. Amazing massage. She really listened to what my ailments were and really took the time to cater to my needs. ...The pressure used was great. I was afraid that I would not enjoy this massage but I was wrong! Going back in 2 weeks and I cannot wait. She is really worth every dime. Not a fancy store front but I'm glad, because I would not have been able to enjoy the massage if I had to keep my pinky up!
