I booked a wash and detangle appt. I advised Nina that I had braids in my hair. She did not properly detangle my hair. She washed it and then began to... rip my hair apart when there was knots. I am completely dissatisfied with this appointment. Show more

This is my second time going to Bliss Star Braids and Locs for braids. This is my honest review for both appointments: My first time was Dec. 9, 2023... - I was unaware that the location was at the braiders apartment home, however the apartment was spotless and fairly easy to find. -Her kids were there-this did not bother me at all as I was raised by a single mother and I understood how expensive childcare is in this inflated economy. With that being said her children are very well behaved and manner-able, they did not interrupt or interfere with my service at all. - She was very polite and had great energy, she was very concerned about making sure she understood my vision and desired results. -She was very fast and the end product was exactly what I wanted! My second time was June 1, 2024 -Same deal as the first time, I travel for work so it had been awhile since I seen her but she remembered me, she was still very kind and focused on giving me what I wanted. We had great conversations and I LOVED the finished product!! I do not give this 5 star rating easily but it was well earned. Below are the pictures from from both styles knotless braids and Bob knotless boho with human hair. As you can see I was feeling myself and very confident 🥰 Thank you Nina & BlissStar!!!💫 Show more

Service started 15 mins after scheduled time which would be ok if there was no penalty towards the customer fir being late such as they will have to p...ay the fee and possibly reschedule. Its great if the respect for time is mutual. Its important to start on time as it shows mutual respect. Show more

Im sorry to leave such a negative review But this was by far the worst experiences I’ve ever had with getting my hair done. I got my locs re twist and... and 2 strand i absolutely hate the way my hair turned out the worst part of it is she was super rough i was in pain the whole time just for it to turn out terrible. Words can’t explain how disappointed i am right now. Show more

I am so sorry for the experience with me! However, that's a two-stranded twist, and am sorry for the pain you could have told me that and I was going to be careful and reduce the heat because of the pin you had in your hair. I never had any of my client's bad experiences once again I am sorry.
