THIS IS NOT THE KERATIN TREATMENT!!! I opted for Keratin Smoothing Treatment for my hair last week. Hair looked fine when I moved out of the salon af...ter the service maybe because of the high heat straightener that was applied to me. I came back home after traveling for 3 days and washed my hair with Keratin Research Shampoo and Conditioner (they worked great with my Keratin hair in the past, have had this service before and used this shampoo/conditioner and it lasted for 6-7 months after treatment with no issues). However, this time as soon as my hair dried, they looked exactly the same as they were before the treatment. When asked, she said she just applied amino acid and didn't restructure my hair strands and that I have to heat/straighten my hair every time I have to go out. The last time I did Keratin on my hair from a different salon, I never got a need to touch comb on my hair, let alone straightener or blow dryer. Now, I am out of hundreds of dollars and my so-called Keratin hair lasted for just 3 days. I wish there were ways of getting back my money. So disappointed. Show more
