I’ve been on the hunt for a hairstylist who was a masters colorist but also specializes in hair weft extensions — and I finally found her! From the mo...ment I came across Cortney’s videos showing her extension techniques and color transformations, I had a good feeling. I sent her a text (expecting the usual days-long wait for a reply), and to my surprise, she got back to me within 20 minutes! Total game-changer. The best part? She had an opening! And thank goodness, because my extensions were literally hanging on by a thread. Meeting Cortney in person put all my fears aside. She removed my old extensions, mapped out a whole new plan for placement and color, and gave me fresh highlights. Throughout the appointment, I kept finding new reasons to be impressed: her knowledge, her speed, her precision with color matching, and her advice on keeping my hair healthy (because yes, I’m guilty of abusing my hot tools). When I left her chair, I felt and looked like a brand new person — no more stressing about whether people could see my extensions. To put it in perspective: A male coworker once joked that my old extensions gave me a “mullet” look. That same coworker did a double-take today and said, “WOW, looks great!” Need I say more, girls? I’ve already booked my next appointment. If you’re like me — super picky and a little nervous about who you trust with your hair — trust me, Cortney won’t disappoint.
