I made my appointment on Booksy January 10 for February 4 at 9am . The ladies were 45 mins late . They overbooked so told me to come back at 3pm . To...ok a lady that made an appointment the day before in front of me . I can back at 3 nowhere near done and ask me to come back next or wait . Been going to them for 2 yrs this was an inconvenience and wasted my gas twice to not even receive service . Highly upset and unprofessional. Show more

This place is a scam! I booked my appointment for boho knotless braids 2weeks prior on Booksy. I had a few questions about what hair I needed because ...her instagram page states she does not provide the hair but there is pictures and videos with hair for purchase. So I reached out via text, instagram and the number provided on her page for clarity and absolute CRICKETS!. I decided just to purchase the boho hair and showed up for my appointment which was at 9am the next day. Mind you I stay almost an hr away so I had to be up early. I pulled up and there is no signage on the building and it looks abandoned. I waited for 30 minutes and still no one came. Please do not book. It’s a waste of time energy and gas! Show more

If I could put zero stars I would & if i read these reviews first I probably would’ve never booked. My appointment was at 9am. I called and called til...l someone finally answered. they don’t speak nor understand English! So calling was really a waste of time. 10:30 when I was ready to leave, 3 ladies came that was not zarah! Very rude. Asked me to show them what I wanted. Constantly walking off while doing my hair. I’m still in the shop while I’m writing this review and I’m still in the chair and it’s 9pm now! I’ve been here for 12 hours and their no where near done. Braids are cute but never again will they get my service! Show more

I recently had a disappointing experience with Nourah hair braid shop and I feel compelled to share my feedback. Unfortunately, my interaction with th...e establishment did not meet my expectations, resulting in frustration and inconvenience. I had scheduled an appointment for 12.26 at 3:30 pm cst and I made the necessary preparations to ensure that I could attend. However, upon arriving at the braid shop, I was never informed that my appointment had not been canceled due to an emergency per Zaharah. This lack of communication and failure to schedule my appointment in advance was not only inconvenient but also demonstrated a lack of professionalism. As a customer, for ./1 year I expect businesses to honor their commitments and appointments, and this experience fell short of that expectation. Moreover, what added to the disappointment was the absence of any follow-up or attempts to rectify the situation. A simple apology or an offer to reschedule would have gone a long way in mitigating the inconvenience caused. The owner said she would text me no next Zarharah no text. In the future, I hope Nourah Braid shop can improve its appointment scheduling and communication processes to ensure a smoother experience for its customers. Clear communication and a commitment to honoring appointments are essential elements of customer service that contribute to a positive reputation for any business. The braids took longer than expected but they came out cute. The inside of the salon isnt pretty floor boards are out of place and it smells like food... and a dirty diaper that needs to be changed. The stylist walked away many times to where another stylist had to leave someone elses head to come braid my hair in the meantime. Not gentile with natural hair as in coming a section with a rat tail comb. Probably wouldn't go again. (BTW dont try to book on booksy because they dont know how to work it & they dont check it, so just show up at 9am and show them what you want) Show more

Bring your ...own entertainment, a battery pack, and food/drinks. Prepare to sit and get your hair done. That’s what they do and that’s all you’re going to get. Show more

2 stars only because the braids are ok. They showed up to 9:00 am appointment late, 9:40 am. No apology, no hello. I requested tailbone length the b...raiders are at my thighs. They are longer than I requested. And the braiders are rude as h*ll. I had to make them take down about 10 braids in the from because they did not center my part. And the they got angry about that. (Idgaf). Overall Service was terrible! Musty(smelly) braiders. Screaming and hollering amongst one another. Not to mention the crying a** baby on one of the braiders back The entire time I was there. NEVER AGAIN! Show more

Ok, for those who are not getting responses pull up they accept walk-ins. If you are questioning how many packs of boho hair 2-4 depending on how full... you want it. My experience: My appointment was at 9 am, they arrived at 9:30am. Secondly be prepared for the price to go up $100- $200 upon arrival. They don’t supply boho hair but charge you $50 extra per bundle you bring and don’t want them long another $50. The lady braiding my hair was literally ripping my damn hair out because she was too lazy to take down the ponytail down to part new sections. The place is your typical braid shop: dirty, cold (no heat), there was a baby crying, no engaging with the clients. Oh bring your own entertainment it’s no tv just 4 walls and 8 of them talking to each other. They were arguing to the point that they were about to fight (first time ever seeing this) briaders stopped working to de-escalate the situation. It’s says 6.5 hours how about 9 because they can’t talk and braid. I left thinking my hair cute until I got home and was running my fingers through it and my boho hair started coming out… It’s a huge no for me but try it first yourself lol Show more

Very bad experience. They never confirmed my appointment to start. Calls and text are never relied to even though you see them on their phones the who...le service. They came 45 mins late and started at 10am opposed to 9am. No “ good morning “ , “ my apologies “ they just walk in and start dividing hair and talking. Ended nearly at 6 pm despite stating 3:30pm. They are yelling at the top of their lungs and arguing the whole appointment. Not to add to the fire two child and the newborn cried 3/4th of the appointment. I had to ask them to stop yelling over me because my head was pounding from all of the above. My braids look nice I will give them that but the quality of service was as dirty as the bathroom . You have talent but the service is horrible. If you want to be stressed and late book them , you’ll leave cute but stressed out. Lastly they don’t know how to use this platform Booksy as I was held hostage to pay even though I paid a deposit on the app. Show more
