Louie did my daughter’s hair today, a low taper was all she needed. This was just a touch up. He had her turned away from the mirror so when my wife w...alked over and saw that he had cut out a square area in the front and put a design in, she was surprised. He left her hair uneven and when we said she didn’t want a design, he shaved the design off and left the square unblended in the front. She tried to make do with it but since she’s leaving for college tomorrow, that just isn’t possible. We were told to go back to the shop and it would be fixed. When we got there, no one would fix it. Everyone said they had to leave and no one would stay to help. On top of that, Louie was going around to all of the other barbers telling them that we had asked for the design and then changed our mind. That is a complete lie. With no one willing to cut it, we left. As someone who has been in the hair industry for 12 years, a salon owner for 5 years, the level of disrespect we encountered with Louie is one that I’ve never seen in all my years. I looked him up. He just graduated and has only been doing hair for a month. Louie, this is not how you treat someone, especially after you make a mistake. I will make sure every person in the hair industry and the public knows who you are for all the wrong reasons. You got the right one today. Show more

I had a satisfactory experience during my appointment with el Dommi. Location is well kept and atmosphere is typical for a Dominican barbershop with g...ood music playing in the background. El Dommi was a bit behind on his schedule but my haircut’s results were right on point. I recommend everyone in Concord, NC area to visit this location and I will definitely be coming back soon.
