We also would like to take this opportunity to explain that prior to starting the locking process, we informed you that your hair was in poor condition and needed to be detoxed and cleaned. This was necessary since there was buildup present. tremendous amount of it be assure the locking process will be twisted at no extra cost. I will fault myself for not taking the signs the date of the appointment. I should have let Kadia cancel me but that was not her intention. She resche...duled me via email less than an hour before my appointment. I called her to tell her I was at a doctors appointment and could not reschedule. She told me she would call me back. 20 mins passed without her calling me back. I called her again and she SA I will call you right back. No call back, instead I went to her shop anyways. Caught her off guard. Like I said I should have took those earlier signs as a hint to run not walk but she would have (I’m sure) tried to charge me a cancellation fee. So she proceeds with doing my hair and charging me for 40$ for something I did not order and 51$ for a trim when all she did was three maybe four snips here and there. Not only that, for a 100$, those were some horrible flat twists, no style whatsoever. On top of that she gonna add a 20% tip. Noooo wayyyyy. Do not recommend and if you’re new, please watch the charges. I’ve since tried another salon, and got what I ordered with a nice flat twist style. Show more

Haircut was good, it was a dry cut which is good considering curly hair appears longer when wet. However, I left with frizzy dry combed hair…. I thoug...ht I would have gotten a basic hair wash… or maybe some product in it? I felt ugly leaving with a big frizz ball..then I didn’t get to choose the tip? It automatically had a 21 dollar tip? When I booked online it stated it was a 65 dollar haircut and basic wash. I got hair cut but no wash. I am not mad just dissatisfied and disappointed. I wish that was communicated beforehand. Maybe then I wouldn’t decided to continue with the hair appointment or whatnot. I kindly request my money back or half it back as I feel like I didn’t get the full service, nor did I pick the tip amount. And nowhere was it disclosed that the tip was automatic. Show more

When I arrived at the salon, my hair was in shambles. It was dry, brittle, and breaking. You could tell my hair was truly on its last leg. Kadia broug...ht life back into my hair strands and scalp by balancing out the Ph level, detoxing, and restoring moisture. For the record, Kadia is a lifesaver and a pillar of knowledge! From the time I walked in till the time I left, she understood the assignment. She engages with your wants, while furthermore educating you on your needs (you're leaving with homework because she wants to see a better version of you every visit). When I left the salon, I felt reassured, enlightened, and uplifted about my hair. I'm looking forward to my next appointment with her in 3 weeks. Below I will attach before and after photos.
