I recently started going to Jordan ( LashBae ) after seeing her work on IG. When I initially found her I had a current lash lady that I knew was mov...ing out of state soon and from what I could see online I really liked Jordan's skill set. I reached out to her a few times with questions and things and she was very informative and helpful and not pushy to book which was nice because I wasn’t ready to part ways with my current lash lady. My interaction with Jordan paired by what I seen on her portfolio I ended up coming around about a year later thankfully so 🙏🏻 From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. Jordan demonstrated exceptional skill and attention to detail, Her knowledge about lash health and more had me feeling right away like I picked the right gal . I had struggled with retention and lashes breaking and only being able to wear them for short periods of time with other lash artists NOT WITH JORDAN THO I always laugh during our sessions together and the multitude of topics we can share . I always leave feeling 100X better than I did when I arrived. I highly recommend Jordan to anyone seeking top-tier lash services you won't regret. Show more

Not only is she one of the sweetest techs tha...t I’ve met, she listens to my concerns and input every time. The first time she also walked me through what the process would be and was super clear and kind in regard to aftercare of my lashes to ensure they would last as long as possible. Things started well through convo back& forth prior to meeting. Previously mentioned I didn’t have a great experience my first time getting lashes at ...“Lash Lounge”. She empathized that which I felt better. My retention wasn’t great w/the glue used& I had fallout w/in two days& my first time being lashed I didn’t experience any irritation/ burns. During the process w/Jordan I mentioned I was in some pain, she reassured not to worry becus it was the fumes& how strong the glue was so I trusted her. As it turned out, I was misinformed, told it was just irritation& that the redness would subside, but that didn’t end up happening. I did some research& come to find out I ended up w/Chemical Burns in both eyes. Jordan stated the night of “it’s unlikely, not possible your eyes are just irritated” she recommend I use hydrocort cream around my eyes to help with the fumes, in less then 24hrs the pain worsened. After consulting a doc I ended up having to use left over antibiotic drops I had. I spoke to two other licensed techs who have been lashing just as long as Jordan. Both techs state it’s not irritation by seeing the photos. The cream& eye drops won’t work that Jordan recommended. Advised by her, try using cold water. I tried everything for relief, atp I was worried abt fallout, although 24hrs passed it should be dry as she states. I barely wet my lashes, yet lashes were falling out. Her& I arranged to have them removed next day after work. I was advised not to by another tech becus I would infact loose my natural lashes &have more issues doing so. I trusted them over Jordan. Jordan still said she’d redo them w/a diff glue but refused when I stated the fall out I was experiencing after 52hrs. She stated after 72hrs it wasn’t her fault/ responsibility it was mine. “your not supposed to soak the lashes& due to the irritation” I DIDN’T SOAK THEM, yet lost so many. I worried after that convo she wouldn’t redo them. I decided to no longer use anything. I state one last time its Chemical Burns becus NOTHING worked& the redness/pain worsened. Once more told it wasn’t possible becus I would’ve had blisters around my eyes. Lash techs, that’s not true especially w/it not being the entire eye. Prior to the appointment I stated I was sensitive which she stated she had “sensitive girls” &they haven’t been affected &been doing lashes w/her for 5 6 years. I state no woman is the same& neither are their sensitivities. Everyone reacts different& you shouldn’t be comparing anyone. Jordan proceeds to say since fallout was due to the client& “their reaction/ irritation to the glue” she’s no longer working w/me or fixing them becus it was self inflicted. I didn’t know I would have an issue w/the glue. Per protocol, board& cert if a client states they’re sensitive a strip test must be performed. I didn’t sign a waiver, &according to both techs/ board that is illegal especially when putting chemicals around eyes. Jordan stated she’s not taking responsibility for what I endured as its not her fault yet “apologized” for it ever happening to me. What an experience, I haven’t had my lashes for a week, I’ve lost pretty much all of them& still struggling w/the burns, luckily it’s subsiding. I’d consider being mindful, w/risk involved yet those weren’t mentioned, this was not worth the pain nor hassle. If there was something I could have done to prepare I would’ve. Also I ended up having to pay more when the appointment was not worth that. A full Classic Set according to her is $150 she charged $160& also states when you book as a “New Client” you get “20% off first appointment” which wasn’t given. She also didn’t issue a refund or even partial payment, she just ignored me. As a woman w/a small business I’d think you’d want to back your business or have a policy in mind in the event something like this happens to a client as they don’t get to enjoy the lashes/end up with a reaction (chemical burns). I’d think you’d wanna make it right, but I was mistaken. Show more
