The braids are soo hard as if the braiding hair was old. Definitely a waste of my 6.5 hours when advertised it would be 4.5 hours and a waste of my m...oney! It probably would have been the advertised time if she wouldn’t be sooo money hungry and took additional clients. Not a great first time experience and will not recommend. I received a text message that I would receive a refund if I took down my negative review/comment, still no refund and I definitely do NOT recommend this salon!!!!!! I had to take down these awful hard braids and pay again at another salon to have my hair done…..what a waste of money at Favor African Hair Braiding! Now receiving a message that I am on here for purely negative comments….not the case at all!!! The hair product was horrible and service too…claiming I had a negative,attitude when this was my first visit and patiently waiting for my hair braiding to begin. Clearly this establishment is not professional at all! Let’s be perfectly clear, I have NO reason to lie about the product of hair I received or my time and money spent!!! Just like you, I am a professional and value great service. You did not own up to that and offered me a refund which I didn’t ask for and yet have not received. Once again I want to apologize to you for any inconvenience you are having. But I think your real reason of coming to my business is exactly what you doing right now; to be on the internet writing such a bad comment about my business. But let me lay out couple of things for you. First of all Favor African hair braiding does not have any OLD hair IN her shop. I ordered my hair from a business that supply every hair braiding shops in the Detroit area; so I don’t have old hair before I put old hair or braids on your head . Secondly you came to my shop with big attitude and I tried my hardest to serve you nicely as a customer. Thirdly, I told you my business has 24 hours policy concerning if customers are not satisfied with their braid. The customer can come back with in the 24 hours period to have their hair or braids change for free of charge or give you 75% of the amount you paid ; if it my fault that you don’t like your hair! So, stop typing negative comments about my business, you are not the only customer that I have served in my shop. However, Customers satisfaction is my highest and number one priority. I dearly love ❤️ all my wonderful customers that stopped by my shop. I’ll highly and respectfully appreciate you to take your comments down from my site.
