The barbershop isn't like a lot of other shops I've been to. The other barbers make sure to always greet you the second you step inside the door as we...ll as greeting you on your way out. The other barbers are always sweeping and keeping the place clean or replenishing how towels. Don't hesitate to book here. Show more
Been getting cut up by Danny Ruiz here at True Barbershop since he started working here and I haven't gone anywhere else since. He's a master at his c...raft and hasn't let me down. Every time he cuts me up I swear I'm getting hit on for the next two weeks by different women. I come back to him to tell the stories and make it a point to get cut by him at least every two weeks. 20/10 service, and he's a cool ass dude too. Come check him out, his work speaks for itself. This is the only barbershop I trust going to since I moved to Northridge. As a man, I feel having a great and reliable barber that is skilled and easy... to communicate with is essential to adulthood. This is hard to find though. That is why since when I finally found the right barber for me, Daniel Ruiz at True Barbershop, I've been a loyal returning customer for nearly two years now and still going. Not only does he do great work, he's great with conversation and I feel like I'm not just getting a haircut, I feel like I'm hanging out with my homey. The staff at the shop is all chill too and they all say hey and bye when you enter or exit, making you feel welcome and one of their own. Danny (Daniel Ruiz) is one, if not, the best barbers at True Barbershop. He pays attention to detail and listens to exactly what you want. I have had ...him as my barber for about 3 years now, and we have experimented and executed with various hairstyles, from comb-overs, to drop-fades, to starting and maintaining a burst fade mullet since last year. He also does creative designs and has an artistic touch to his craft. He is well-known for his drop-fades, but is a master at any fade. There are times when I do not know exactly what I want, but he always manages to give crispy cuts that have actually made random people compliment my hair whenever I leave. He is a great conversationalist too without getting side-tracked on his work when he cuts your hair. Trust me on this - Danny Ruiz is the barber you want to go to if you are a walk-in, and the barber to keep if you are a regular. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a cut at True Barbershop. When it comes to booking my haircut with Daniel there are two things that are guaranteed: a great haircut and a great conversation. One of the things ...I love about the barbershop experience is that when I go to get my haircut the world outside is on pause and while I'm getting my haircut Daniel and I will talk about what's going on in our lives but also be completely honest and have a real conversation filled with hard questions that make you think and see things differently and good advice which is rare to have these days. So when I leave True Barbershop, not only do I feel fresh because of the haircut but I also feel more enlightened because of the conversation that I had with Daniel. I definitely recommend Him!
