Honestly, one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I used to go to Gotham Barber on 57th but their extensive rotation of barbers quitting had me star...t looking elsewhere. Got my first cut with David today and I am extremely pleased. I have very thick hair which means that if you don't have experience, it usually looks choppy. Honestly David went above and beyond; my cut came out better than I expected and his attention to detail was top-notch. It took me a bit to find the location, just follow the new stand's entrance on 57th and 8th down the stairs into the subway station. Show more

Great experience! If you're in the neighborhood and are looking for a good haircut at a price that is hard to beat these days, look no further. David ...is a great guy with a big heart and gives an excellent haircut. He even finishes up around the ears and neck with a straight razor which I love. I wish more barber shops were like this place - simple, no frills, great service, fair price. I'll be coming back for my next cut from here for sure! Show more
