I’d love the opportunity to make it right if possible. Because I know you booked same day appointment , you asked for a particular part of your hair to be braided which was communicated to you that it was too short to be gripped , when done you looked in the mirror and said you liked your hair & even gave a tip, which makes me wonder why you decided to leave a negative review.

Unfortunately, my appointment was changed multiple times by the braider and then she decided not to come at all and let another stylist do my son’s br...aids. The new stylist couldn’t do the design we had requested and he had to settle with a style he didn’t want. They weren’t neat and we took them out of his hair after an hour. Edit to add: the style that I’m referring to was not stitch braids, it was zigzag parts. The stylist said she could not do zigzag parts. I was not asking for zigzag cornrows, just for the parts to be zigzag. She said she could only part straight back.

Hi Sharde, I truly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. I had a personal emergency that day and initially thought I would make it back to the shop in time, but unfortunately I couldn’t. Rather than canceling on you last minute, I asked another stylist to assist with your son’s appointment. The style you booked was for regular straight backs, but once you arrived, you requested stitch braids. Since that wasn’t what was booked, the stylist wasn’t prepared to provide that service at the time. If stitch braids had been booked originally, I would have ensured that the stylist available was experienced with that style or rescheduled you accordingly. I also didn’t receive any feedback about the hair before you left, so I’m surprised by your experience shared here. Customer satisfaction is very important to me.

I'm impressed with the quality of my hair style and the attentiveness of the Stylist. The Salon was modern and clean. The Stylist was able to locate... hair in her suite to match my dyed hair which is not the normal colors she provides for free. I'm glad she advised me to get the 6 cornrows instead of the 3 to 4 I originally scheduled. The location and parking is great. I do recommend this Stylist to others, and I will be returning to get the cornrow style I meant to schedule now that I know the correct name of it.

The braiding part was very fast and neat, even with an almost hour late start. On the booking site, it noted “hair is included;” however, an hour befo...re my appointment start time I received a call from the stylist stating hair is not included for large knotless (this, by the way, is not noted on the booking site) and I needed to pick up the hair before 6pm because thats when the beauty supply store closed. Now, I live a ways away from the shop and it would have been great if I was told at least 24 hours ahead of time the hair was not included because I would have done something different. Overall, the braids are nice.

Your appointment was at 5:30 , I started your hair at 5:50 , I called you earlier to let you know I was rounding up on a client which you said that was fine , As clearly stated in my policy, I provide specific hair colors and do not supply hair for large knotless braids or certain styles due to the high number of packs required. You booked and paid $230 for butt-length large knotless braids which I think it's a good price, it was completed in under two hours with clean parts and a beautiful finish, as you mentioned. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the quality of work, and I always strive to provide the best service possible while maintaining transparency through my policies.
