I went to Alexis once to get my hair braided and had a really good experience and decided to go back to her to get my hair braided. I had my appointme...nt yesterday and was 10 minutes early for my appointment she still had a customer in her chair she was half way done doing their hair and she said she texted me so I looked at my messages which she had told me she was way behind and if I wanted to hang out so I told her ok I’ll be in my car text me when your done. I waited an hour and then saw the guy she was braiding leave. So I went in to see if she was ready for me and she was getting another customer into her seat to braid their hair. He didn’t even have an appointment from what she told me. I asked her if she still had time to braid me because I was waiting for an hour to which she repeated to me that she was behind due to her client being late..Even though I scheduled an appointment with her in advance and sent her the deposit to secure my appointment. So I waited another 15 minutes and she still wasn’t even close to being finished. So I had to leave because my babysitter for my son could only watch him for so long. I reached out and told her I need my deposit back. She tried saying she would give me a discount but I explained to her how unhappy I was about this happening and that she should work on her communication with her customers and how inconvenient it was. She tried arguing that she does communicate well with her clients. I was not going to argue with her so I didn’t respond.That right there showed me that she is unprofessional. She did send me back my deposit but I had to ask for it .I did not appreciate that she had me waiting for 1 hour past my appointment for her to even finish with a customer that did have an appointment and then helped someone that did not have an appointment. When she knew I was already there waiting. I don’t recommend going to her . She is not reliable and her communication is not good at all for someone that is a “business “ person. If I could give zero stars I would. Show more
