I paid $650 for instant locs and a consultation, only to end up with three rows of uneven parts on the crown of my head which I didn’t notice until I ...took out the two strand twists out 2 days later. Monique, the locitician, proved to be unprofessional and immature after I expressed concerns with the outcome of my hair. Despite discussing my desire for small locs and small parts in our messages and during an in-person consultation, she admitted to being unsure about what I wanted and chose to do smedium uneven parts! If you’re unsure as the stylist after messaging back and forth about what I wanted and an in person consultation shouldn’t you ask the client more questions? She also educated me that my hair was not suitable for the style and parting I wanted AFTER assuring me it was during our in person consultation and AFTER completing my hair to her liking. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for my preferences made for a disappointing experience. Monique's behavior was far from suitable for a locitician, and I found the entire ordeal to be very distasteful. She also blocked me after only refunding $250 and posting an immature post to her IG hair page story and unsent a few of the messages she sent to me on instagram. I also did not give permission for my pictures to be posted and they kindly need to be removed. Show more
