RIGHT Comprehensive Driver Fit

I scheduled two fittings at Pet's Golf with Sam Kim at the Lab 18 Fitting Studio. The Lab 18 facility and the people working there were awesome! They... were very nice, accommodating and it is a state-of-the-art facility. I worked with Sam on an Iron and Driver Fitting (two separate days). From beginning to end it was a great experience. Sam took the time to understand my goals, what I was looking for from the fitting and from the new clubs. Sam was patient with me, listened to my feedback and didn't waste time of clubs that I didn't like or that were just not the right fit for me. I learned A LOT about my swing and how I deliver the club during my fitting. It was far from a lesson however it was an amazing learning experience that I was not expecting. Most importantly, I truly appreciated Sam's straight to the point recommendations. I understand feel is a huge part of choosing the right clubs, but I was there to get professional advice and Sam delivered just that. Based on the data we collected throughout the fitting, the feedback I was giving same and the shot results, Sam was clearly able to identify the best shaft and clubhead combo that fit my game. I also want to mention that fitters sometime receive negative feedback because clients fell like the fitter "pushed upgrades" or more expensive equipment. This could not be further from the truth in my experience. Especially when it came down to the driver. After identifying which head worked best for me, I wanted to try all of the shafts, especially the Upgrade after-market shaft that have the cool look and potentially better performance. Sam put together a few options and when comparing the more expensive after-market shaft to the stock shaft I was hitting originally, Sam clearly pointed out and explained why, even though the after-market shaft looks nicer with the bright colors, I was hitting the stock shaft better. Bottom line, I went to Pete's to get fit by a professional and that is exactly what I got. I highly recommend Pete's golf and Sam Kim.
