My appointment was originally scheduled for 11:30 AM and was moved to 10:30 AM the day prior, with confirmation. While I was on my way (about 15 minut...es out), I was told there were plumbing issues and my appointment would be pushed back to 11:30 AM. Since I live 30 minutes away, I had no choice but to wait nearby. When I returned, the salon appeared to be operating normally, with other clients already being serviced and no visible or noticeable issues. This raised concerns about the accuracy of the earlier explanation. Additionally, the service itself felt unprofessional. There was little to no communication or client engagement throughout the appointment, as the stylist spent a significant amount of time on the phone and interacting with others instead. What was expected to be a one-hour appointment turned into approximately 2.5 hours, largely due to attending to other clients during my service. This delay disrupted the rest of my day and reflected poor time management. This was also not my first visit—this was my third time, and unfortunately will be my last. Each time, I’ve given the benefit of the doubt, but the experience has progressively worsened. That said, she does great work—her wig installs are truly impressive. I believe she has strong talent, but would benefit from improving professionalism and time management. I don’t want to knock anyone’s hustle, but I do believe it’s important to share an honest experience so others know what to expect. This is my response to your response: While the appointment update was sent through the Booksy app, it was changed while I was already on my way—about 15 minutes from the salon—and then followed by a phone call informing me of the change. Prior to that, the night before, I had called to let you know I would be dropping the wig off. During that conversation, I was informed of the $35 same-day customization fee. I then asked if coming in earlier would help with timing, and you advised me to come in at 10:30 AM instead of my original 11:30 AM appointment. Even with arriving earlier, the total service time extended until nearly 2:00 PM. While I understand that customization can require additional time, it should not have extended the appointment to that length, especially given the adjusted start time. A significant portion of that time appeared to be spent assisting other clients. I also want to note that my concern was not about constant conversation, but rather the lack of basic communication and professionalism during the service. Additionally, there was no acknowledgment or apology regarding the earlier claim of plumbing issues, which did not appear to be present upon arrival. Again, I recognize your talent and the quality of your work. However, my feedback reflects the overall experience, including time management, communication, and professionalism.

I apologize if you felt my attention was divided during our interaction. Please be assured that my intention was not to ignore you. When I'm sensing a client may not be inclined to converse, I sometimes give you space to relax. Regarding your appointment, it was initially scheduled for 11:30, and you deviated from our booking policy, which you're familiar with. We have a recorded conversation where you acknowledged the inconvenience and rescheduled for a more suitable time. The new appointment details were sent to your phone via the Booksy app, which is our primary mode of communication. The wig installation with same-day customization required adherence to our booking policy, which wasn't followed, resulting in additional time

I love how she does hair but I scheduled an early appointment for a wig install with the wig included for my boyfriends birthday dinner and I drove an... hour away to get my hair done just for her to tell me she forgot about my appointment that i booked on Booksy and sent my deposit back when I was 10 minutes away from the shop….. I cried because I had no wig and my hair was all over the place and his dinner was that same night💔
