I've been twice and overall my braids have been done well. However, as someone who is tender headed, I think I need to stick to braiders with more foc...used care on working with a tender scalp. The overall experience this time was a bit painful. Heavy handed braiding and some rough comb through of my hair. Also some shoulder discomfort due to the pressure. I know my hair can kink back up some, even after being blowed dried, but I've had braiders that have had a more gentle approach to combing out my parts. I just need a softer approach to braiding my hair. But this is just my experience as someone with a tender scalp. If you're not too tender headed, I would still recommend giving this braider a try. Because the braids do come out nice. Show more

Especially as you have seen me prior to this appointment and I thought we would have that communication maybe before this post was made. Though your experience is your experience and I thank you for sharing. Maybe in the future; if you’re uncomfortable please speak up, especially if I ask you if you’re okay? Or if you need a break? I truly care about all of my clients and would have loved to maybe come up with a plan to make your appointment more comfortable. I had a lot of clients who are tenderheaded and we make a plan so I best work with them and then their comfort levels! Some examples are; we use your own styling tools, blow dry each section as we go especially for thicker/ kinkier hair as hair tends to revert back/ styling while slightly damp or what ever else that may work for you! Just maybe a suggestion for going forward with booking with other people.
