Latifa did a great job!
I have been here twice, and they were FAST and AFFORDABLE. It was a fun environment to get my hair braided, and I got long (waist-length) braids finis...hed in 2.5 hours. I have loved both of the styles I got, and I plan to use them as my exclusive braider moving forward. Show more

10/10 experience! I loved going here, I called to make an appointment the day before and Nimaah was there early and ready to go. Nimaah and her braid...ers were so nice! The girl that braided my hair did a really good job. She was neat and quick ! As she was braiding she stopped and showed me what the braids looked to to make sure I was happy which I thought was really nice touch. I got small waist length knotless braids and the price was reasonable,$260. I have thick long hair and it took about 4hrs. I would definitely recommend. Show more

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share what a great experience I had here. First, I was able to book my appt. the night before for the fol...lowing morning @ 7AM. I asked & was charged for med., waist length, knotless, but received almost butt length, so, that was definitely a plus. Second, very fair & competitive pricing. I live in D.C., so if you’re familiar with the pricing for braids, then you know why this is a good thing. Also, my stylist(s) were prompt, polite and timely. There were 2 women working on me, one braiding the back & one in the front. They were cool & it didn’t take as long as anticipated. Show more
Just awful and rude owner. Claims they know how to do a certain style but will play in your hair and take your money.

I thought this would be a great experience but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I called and advised I needed my hair done. She told me to come ove...r. That was terrific. Advised owner that I am allergic to hair that has the alkaline coating on it. She told me her hair did not. I brought hair that was labeled itch free and she told me that they would slide out for senegalese twists. I agreed to use her hair and before I finished getting hair braided it started to itch. I called on July 4th after waiting in line behind 10 ppl at another shop in MD, which I can say was night and day compared. I called this shop and the... owner answered. She planned on being closed but without begging or convincing agreed to come in. I asked for medium knotless in a custom color blend with a deadline of 5 hours. She was transparent about how she thought it may take more time but when I say she under promised and over delivered! It was neat, clearly a professional. I’ve gotten braids in Nigeria, I know braids and she does them. I had multiple braiders on my head but didn’t hurt. She was kind, professional, and I hesitate to post only because she will be someone I come to exclusively get braids from even though I live an hour away and I don’t want to share her but for the phenomenal business owner and braider she was to me a first time client she deserves to have her business blown up. If you want a hair braiding shop go here and stop searching TikTok for places that won’t do what she can. Show more
