I am removing these TODAY! I want to make it clear she was nice and funny and I always want to support black businesses but she braided with way to mu...ch tension and gel you can see the tension bumps and the hair literally being torn by the follicles! I’ve gotten my hair braided so many times and have never encountered this. Her braiding space was so messy, hair everywhere and dirty. Considering how aggravated my scalp is I doubt tools were disinfected. She also left halfway through our appointment for like 45 minutes. I feel like she was definitely stretching a pack of hair because my braids looks very boneless! I asked her to curl the ends too and she didn’t. In the end I kind of just gave up because I had already been there for a while because of her leaving. I wanted to badly to give her the benefit of the doubt because it looks great even despite that. But I’m disappointed in this unprofessional and unsanitary experience :( Show more

There was no service. The appointment was scheduled for my daughter, I was sent a confirmation with the address but no apt number. The day of the appo...intment the lady said that the appointment needed to be pushed back a hour, which I said was fine. On my way to her home I texted her for the apt number but got no response. After asking kids around the neighborhood if they knew where she lived they pointed me to her apartment (I'm not sure if it was the right apt) I knocked and called her phone a couple of times with no answer so I just counted it as a loss. I wish she had been more professional. Show more
