I had a very disappointing experience. The barber texted me 10 minutes before my appointment to say he was running late, and arrived about 10 minutes ...late. I asked for a simple taper around the sides and to cut off a few inches. I even explained that I usually put my hair in a bun but just didn’t have a tie with me that day. Instead of being prepared, he repeatedly asked if I had a hair tie, which made me feel uncomfortable and unprofessional on his part. At the time I couldn’t see the haircut well, but the next morning after washing and styling I noticed my sideburns were uneven—one side is significantly higher than the other. Now I’ll have to cut my hair shorter just to even it out, which is something I absolutely didn’t want to do. Overall, he didn’t seem prepared for clients with longer hair and the result shows. Honestly, I would have respected him more if he had told me upfront he couldn’t do the cut properly and rescheduled me with someone else. Instead, I left with a cut I’m extremely unhappy with.
