Crochet Braids

I’m 9 mo pregnant and was looking specifically for someone that knew how or specialized in crochet braids. I was hoping that was the case when I booke...d with this salon and began texting Kwante’. I sent many reference videos and asked several questions as this was my first time doing a style like this, and to make sure we could accomplish this protective style for the first few months of my first postpartum journey. My hair lasted about 2 days before I realized the integrity and quality of the hair and style I paid for. Clumps of hair and constant shedding happened. I notified Kwante’ and asked if the leave-in conditioner I had was enough to remedy the hair. No response. A week - and copious amounts of hair combed out from the type of comb I was advised to use - into my style (yesterday) I took the hair out of my head without any corrective measures from Kwante’ accept that I could’ve used a higher quality of hair. I left this up to Kwante’, again to reiterate this was new to me. I asked for financial relief from this failed style only to be met with a 24 hour window policy that I was too late to request a redo. I got this style done a day before my due date and wish I had done better research on the specialist and quality of hair necessary to pull this look off. Pictures include back of style with and without Bobby pins which I was advised I would not need. Show more

A number of solutions were provided as well as specific products for synthetic hair was highly recommended.
