Joe is the best at what he does and is a true expert in his field. This old girl needed quite a bit of maintenance. Physical therapy can be grueling, but it is necessary for optimal recovery. I should have not gotten to this point, but Joe did a fantastic job this session. Looking forward to being at the top of my game before leaving. Thanks, Joe!!!
Joe is the best: very knowledgeable, kind and a hard working professional. He is so focused and concentrated that I had the impression he was “listening” to my muscles and tissues to find out exactly where the problem was, and he certainly fixed it!
As playing multiple team sports through high school, college, work shifts of 8-10 hrs standing up, paddle boarding and other various activities, I started developing intense pain in my shoulders, upper back, hamstrings and losing mobility even when I was just doing recovery workouts. It was likely due to overuse and my own stubbornness which made things worse and from my own self diagnoses and “Chinese remedies”, I believe i wasn’t far away from a frozen shoulder. I used to let it go away on it’s own or get a massage here and there but once it became persistent I wasn’t able to reach the knots with various tools. I started at CrossFit Soul a month ago and I decided to try Joe because I knew it was time to invest and I couldn’t be happier that I found Joe. Not only has my mobility dramatically improved, the constant pain has also reduced almost like they never existed! I can’t thank Joe enough for the therapy he’s provided over the past month. He really takes the time to learn your body and focuses on areas needing the most work. Always making sure I’m comfortable. Joe regularly communicates during the session to ensure he’s hitting all of the problem areas. While I may be crying on the inside while he’s working on me, I love that he can provide serious pressure and is always cognizant of his level of pressure to ensure it’s not too much. He’s made some helpful recommendations. I highly recommend for anyone with similar pain and mobility issues. It also helps that Jflo is extremely friendly, treat everyone like family, easy to talk to and flexible, he really puts a personal touch on each session and I’ll mostdefinitely continue treatment with him as it has come a tradition of an every Friday session getting ready for a relaxed weekend. It had been nearly 20 years since I had a massage, but after my experience with Joe, I'm looking forward to doing it again soon. Joe definitely knows what he's doing, and he lets me in on the "hows and whys" as he works--which is nice if you're like me and you like to understand what's going on. Seriously, I feel like a new person, and a much more relaxed person at that.
