I had a haircut appointment with Johan on 9/27/26 and I had a VERY negative experience overall. Firstly, I sent him a picture of the haircut I wanted ...to get about 2 hours before my appointment - a low fade, 1.5 on top, shape-up, and a goatee. He had plenty of time to review it and understand what my expectations were. However, during the haircut he left WAY too much hair on the top of my head than what was shown in the reference photo. When I asked if he could make it shorter, he said he would have to charge me for a SECOND haircut (so I would have to pay double) for taking less than 1 inch of hair off my head. NO WAY! While it is true that I told him 1.5, and he did show me the 1.5 guard on the clipper, he should NOT be willing to charge a customer $100+ to fix a minor issue with the haircut that could be fixed in less than five minutes! The frustrating part is that the issue was ultimately fixed at home by simply trimming a small amount more from the top. As a result, I believe Johan was disrespectuful and unprofessional towards me, and I will not be going back to him in the future. 1/5
