Love coming here it's close to home and it reminds me of when my mom and I went to the salon every 2 weeks. I feel that it boosts a young girl's self-esteem when she can feel pretty. Upon meeting Lisa, for the first time, she seem to be annoyed, or a little irritated. I just took that as her probably being quiet or having her own b...ad day. And continue with my appointment. I decided to give her a second chance with my child to see if attitude can improve. It seems to me whenever I ask a question or want clarity of a price it’s met with attitude. Maybe Lisa is used to charging what she wants or making up charges. I booked a child med knotless braid appointment. I was under the impression that the fee is 145 I was then told she does not like braiding with Amazon hair and “ I told you what type of hair to use” wrong way to talk to someone who you don’t know and a person who is paying for a service. I ask her , well if you have the hair here I can purchase the hair you like and you can use that and the color pieces can be added to her hair as my daughter definitely wants the pink. Again met with attitude. As I’m talking she is looking down and walking away. I told her I will be outside as I am working and let me know if she needed anything. Perfect opportunity her to look at the hair and explicit tell me hey this hair is 26 inches I only accept 20 inches for that price. Nope she decided to keep that important information to herself and tell me I owe her more money. After getting clarification on the additional owed amount of 103, of course I paid and of course no tip and I also cancelled my appointment for my son. Her rude behavior and lack of professionalism cost her over 350! I felt that to be sneaky for you to up charge without expressing anything and it makes me sick to my stomach to know that again doing business with your own kind doesn’t always yield the best results. A true business person who isn’t trying to take others money would have been up front. Not have an attitude about “not feeling like use the hair “. Lisa , that is a you preference. I am paying you for a service. If you want to dictate the type of hair you want someone to use you either provide it or you should have turned me away wNot charge more money without letting me know . This is how awe as black people stay broke but like I said good luck with your business. Show more
