Hi Ayanna, Thank you for your review. I want to clarify what happened for accuracy for future clients that may read your review . When you arrived, you mentioned that you might have had a reaction in the past from other appointments , but you did not describe a severe allergy. You were receiving an acrylic overlay, which normally does not involve regular polish. You brought your own “gel” topcoat for me to use, and during the service I noticed it was not curing correctly. I tested my professional topcoat, and you saw me switch products without asking any questions or expressing any concern. You later acknowledged that you did not say anything during the appointment. Acrylic and gel services involve multiple chemicals, not just one topcoat, so a reaction cannot be linked to a single product; especially when your own product was part of the service and did not perform properly. You contacted me 48 hours later, after symptoms had already developed. I reviewed your photos and explained that with the time passed and multiple factors involved, the exact cause could not be confirmed. I never mentioned anything about a reaction happening “outside the window.” Still, I refunded your tip as a courtesy. Clients with sensitivities must speak up during the service.
