All of the ladies in the salon are super nice and kind. They were very prompt and clearly care lot about their product and service and I applaud them ...for that. With that being said, I wasn’t too thrilled with the style on myself. I wanted more braids and ultimately the final look wasn’t what I wanted though it would look very nice on someone who wanted this particular style.

I’ve been a client for a little over a year now, and until this appointment I’ve never had a complaint. Unfortunately, this experience was very disapp...ointing, and I feel I was overcharged for the hairstyle I received. The braiding hair color I originally wanted wasn’t available because the beauty supply store was closed, so we worked with what the salon had. That wasn’t a major issue for me. I also decided to go with a shorter length because of the heat. What I was unhappy with was the execution. I specifically requested small braids, but I received medium-sized braids instead. I also asked for only a small amount of hair to be left out for my baby hairs around my edges, but significantly more hair was left out than I requested. During the appointment, the braider finishing my hair did not braid the ends correctly, and the braider in charge had to undo and redo portions of the work before I left. Once I got home, I noticed numerous knots throughout the braids, and they felt unusually stiff. After tying my hair down with both a scarf and bonnet overnight, it already looked several weeks old by the very next day. I’ve always had positive experiences here, which is why this appointment was so disappointing. The quality of the work did not reflect the price I paid, and it has left a very bad impression. I would appreciate being contacted to discuss a partial or full refund, as I do not believe the quality of the service matched what I paid for.
