Been to so many barbershops in Clovis and I would definitely rank house of fades the number one place to go. I already recommended at least a dozen of... people to house of aids. Vic is a very extremely talented barber, and in my opinion, the best barber there. Show more

Just moved to New Mexico so I was in the market for a new barber. I am in the military so I have to get haircuts often. Chose this shop specifically b...ecause of other good reviews. At first, I had booked for a Friday @ 6 PM. The spot was available in the regular haircut booking option. I was then prompted to review a change in the booking. They had changed my booking to an after hours booking at double the price. Which I find crazy cause how is 6 PM on a Friday after hours? People have jobs? Of course I’m not paying that, and especially at a shop I’ve never been to. So I then chose a different booking for a Tuesday afternoon, at an earlier time, in which I had to rush to get to the shop. Cool place. Nice atmosphere. Barbers didn’t seem too friendly at all, not one of them greeted me and the dude at the counter didn’t seem happy to answer my question. The actual barber didn’t say a word, and when I tried explaining what I wanted done didn’t ask for clarification or asked any follow up questions. Just winged it. Cut was not as I expected. Not horrible, but noticeably uneven fade, from one side of my head to the other. Didn’t want to make a scene so I just paid and left. I definitely will not be coming back again. Lol. Also, they seemed to think I didn’t speak Spanish so they were talking about how they were gonna punk a customer out of $80. I’ve definitely gotten worse haircuts before, but I was really disappointed on my visit here. Someone pmo to a decent barber pls. Show more
