I had a terrible experience. First, let me give context that I initially booked a retwist with a style, which was $75. I got to the appointment over 1...5 minutes late because the bus was running late so it was an additional $15, bringing it up to $90. The second I get to the door she cancels my appointment. I called her and she rescheduled my appointment, and I told her I wanted a REGULAR RETWIST because the regular is 60 and I wanted to balance it out since I knew I’d pay the $15 for the late fee. She rescheduled it as a retwist with style despite me specifically telling her I didn’t want a style anymore. She also didn’t give me the style anyway so idk why she put it in as retwist with style. When it was done she asked for $90, which made no sense to me but I was in a rush. So I was basically robbed the additional $15 that I didn’t need to pay for because it should have been 60+15 late fee. On top of that, Booksy charged me $7.50 for the cancellation, which makes even less sense because she rebooked me a literal minute after she cancelled it. So that’s 15+7.50 I didn’t need to pay. The whole time she was doing my hair she was cursing and yelling at her children and her children’s friends, taking her frustrations out on me and my hair. So before you come on here making FALSE REPORTS tell everybody how your appointment was at 10:30 and you texted me at 10:31 telling me your bus was late YOUR APPOINTMENT WAS AT 10:30 you did not text me 30 minutes before letting me know anything everything is in DETAILS LEARN TO READ you did not update me the whole time you was on your way….I CANCELLED YOUR APPOINTMENT WHICH IS A FEE and had to add you back into the system you called me at 11:06 talking about your here and I told you I canceled your appointment because updates was not met which you get charged a fee and you also combed you locs out asking for repairs which was not included in your notes which there is a no last min update fee so I told you I could not do it you also asked for JUST THE RETWIST THEN because you couldn’t get want you wanted…. There is a fee for no last min updates also ....Before you come on here trying to LIE let them know that you texted my phone really rude disrespecting my kids off a texting app because I told you you could not book with me any more you don’t text nobody phone rude and expect them not to curse you out the fact you TRIED TO MAKE ME LOOK BAD IS WHAT FUNNY this the second time you got your hair done and this the second time you’ve been a problem your also tender headed so all that I was rough and rude I wasn’t show ALL THE MESSAGES INSTEAD OF THE ones where I snapped on you tell everybody how you keep making fake texting apps disrespecting my kids

It was my son 1st time, he’s 8, he got starter locs. She is a very nice girl but the smell of weed punched me and my son dead in the face and she also... didn’t have any where for me to sit while I was waiting there with him but overall the prices are fantastic and it was worth it. She has a great personality, very knowledgeable about certain products to use in his hair.
