Hair was great but the two braiders that I had were inconsistent. I was there for over the set time, braids done were small as well. I would say that ...I was there a total of 5 hours. Still great time and women helping each other. I just wish I was charged for the services received. I called ahead to get information on washing my hair and due to no response from previous messages I came in unaware. Thankful for translators and French classes I was able to understand everything while sitting there. Show more

This is the best African hair braiding shop i will ever recommend, i went for a walk-in and they immediately got my braids done within 3hours.I am ten...der headed but this was different for a reasonable price.I will go again in next 2months for services are top notch. Show more
I absolutely love coming here! They are quick and professional! Horlena is my go to braider! She gets me in and out. Im never there longer than 3 hour...s! And their prices are very reasonable! And the owner Angel is a very nice lady! I love the ladies here! I’m tender headed and they take that into consideration! Show more

Great service and same day appointments
I went to this place during august to get my hair braided, and I was expecting al lot more. First of all, the owner came late which makes no sense as ...it’s supposed to be a professional salon. I get that some things happen, but this was upsetting. Then, the “salon” was completely unkempt and I was not feeling welcomed there at all. I remember the owner being on the phone with a potential customer and telling her she shouldn’t bring her own hair. This threw me off a little but I stayed. They can braid, I won’t lie here about that. They had two braiders and they finished quickly and neatly. When I did take the hair out, my eye was swollen. This wouldn’t be a big deal if it went away. To this day, my eye is still damaged. STILL DAMAGED. I don’t know where they got their hair from but I will never visit again. I am still deciding whether or not I will take legal action. I am extremely disappointed Show more
I noticed twists unraveling by the time I got home from my visit because my twists were not knotted at the end, So they had me come back in to have th...em fixed. They STILL didn’t knot all of the twists so my braids are still unraveling. So the trip back was a WASTE of time/gas, going to have to pay someone else reinstall when my hair can handle the tension again. Waste of money DONT go here. Show more
Those African Aunties did their thing a braided my thoughts. I asked for the trending French curly braids and they immediately started working on my h...air. I had an appointment though it’s was $170. And they did a quick job. I only trust Africans to do my hair. Lovely establishment and family oriented. The owner and braids are good people. Do not hesitate and book with them. No crazy deposits and are just overall nice people and good vibes here. Show more

Update, went back and the owner and one of the twins redid my hair! And was professional and courteous and nice about the situation I do re recommend ...this salon Previous review Sep 5, 2023: 180$!(because I tipped them both) the "twins" are very unprofessional! On Sept 2 went in for butterfly knots on Sept 4 the braids were falling out and upon more inspecting one of them didn't finish in the back (where I couldn't see) called the shop talked to someone explained my concerns and wanted to know if I came back in could they correct what they didn't finish and didn't properly fix said yes and that she would talk to them about correcting the mistake one of the twins said 8am (shop doesn't open till 9am) so I asked what about 9 or 10am? (The person I talked to said the same thing because it doesn't open till 9) one of the twins got argumentative and the lady said she would call me back....never heard from either smh just unfair treatment Show more
Happy with the results. My experience was pleasant. The braids didn't take too long. The young lady that braided my hair was very kind and did everyth...ing I asked. I wanted tight braids and I got them. Hoping they will last a month. Great price! I will be coming again. Thank you all. Show more

This was my 2nd time here and let’s say NEVER TF AGAIN the owner angel wasn’t there (not an angel at all) but anyways I got senegalese twist both time...s the first time they was done in 3 hrs so I EXPECTED that this time well NOPE today I goes and spent 5hrs but first I was told the day before it was 160 I get there get to parting everybody saying 160 but then all of a sudden the owner on the phone and she saying 170 $10 NO BIGGIE but I should’ve still been charged 160 but whatever so we got slow poke in the back then you got miss ima leave my customer every chance I get and go outside and talk on my phone for 20 plus mins EVERYTIME so they expected me to STILL pay 170 and goes off and say “you just don’t have any money” PAUSE I have money baby you want to check my bank account I’m not letting NOBODY play with MY money you wanted to keep disappearing and expect to get paid NO I offered 140 they wanted 150 the least and they wasn’t going for it but guess what NEITHER WAS I but guess who left paying 140 though………ME the owner swear I’ll be back but they just forgot they aren’t the only ones in Columbus they get ZERO business I spent 11-5 in there and once 1 other person came in after me STOP PLAYING😂😂 Show more
