African-American men, please read: highly recommend Mo. I was in dire need of a fade after not seeing a barber for over a month. I live in a small, ce...ntral Illinois town and was in Northbrook for work. Barbers in my local town, other AA men, are limited in their skillet, to put it kindly. My cuts have been so bad that I’ve actually debated just giving myself 1.5-2.0 even cuts just to avoid paying ppl for subpar cuts. I came across Mo and decided to give it a try. I’m so lucky that I did. Mo’s portfolio pics didn’t show many AA men so I was nervous, but Mo never displayed any lack of confidence. Mo gave me the best low fade I’ve had in years. I felt like Jayson Tatum walking out of the shop. Clean sharp line, sharp on the corners, symmetrical and blended to show a smooth, seamless transition. Mo is my barber now. Even if I can only make the 2.5 hour drive to see him once a month. Highly recommend.
