Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you about the best braider in the game. This woman is so skilled, she could braid spaghetti and make it look good fo...r an Instagram pic! Honestly, I walked into her salon with hair that resembled a bird's nest, and after an hour, I looked like I just stepped out of a music video. Now, I’m not saying she has magical powers, but when I left, I felt like I should be walking the runway in Paris. She grabbed my unruly mane like it was a bouquet of flowers at a wedding – she treated it with such care and craftsmanship. You know you’ve found the one when she handles your hair like it’s made of fine china, while all you can think is “please don’t reveal my split ends.” I’ll tell you this – if the apocalypse happens, I want her on my team. I can see us braiding hair and saving humanity one twist at a time. "Oh, is that a zombie? Let me just cornrow your hair real quick, give you some style as we fight for survival!” And the conversations! Ladies, have you ever sat in a chair, getting your hair done, and suddenly it’s like therapy? I found out her whole life story, and here I am telling her about my questionable dating choices, and how my last relationship ended because I put too much pressure on him to take me to brunch. Spoiler alert: He didn’t want to share avocado toast! In conclusion, if you’re looking for a braider who makes your hair look like it’s had a spa day, is a therapist in disguise, and somehow makes you feel like a queen all at once – this is the gal for you! Just be prepared to have her weave in an unexpected life lesson or two, all while making sure your cornrows are tight enough to withstand a tornado. Honestly, I think I might just start booking appointments monthly – not for my hair, but for the free therapy! Show more
