I absolutely love getting my braids done at Nayram African Braid. My hair always comes out beautiful. I always get tons of compliments. The atmosphere... is positive & friendly . The shop is clean & orderly and you can purchase your hair right at the shop . They have an easy to use website where you can schedule your appointment. I one thing I also appreciate is I’ve never had to wait an extended period to be serviced. I get medium knotless or box braids waist length. It’s always done so quick & that’s pretty impressive. I came into the shop for my scheduled and found the stylist I booked with doing someone else’s hair. She then asked me to sit in another stylists chai...r and wait for her to come in. She didn’t come in until almost an hour and a half later. I was annoyed at first but the finished product made up for it . I love how she parted the hair, the way the braids came out , and just the overall end product . God does things for a reason so maybe it was meant for me to see Daughter instead ( not sure if i spelled it correctly ) . I will be booking with her in the future . Show more

After giving this place 3 different chances, I'm officially done. I made the appointment for a specific stylist. When I showed up, she wasn't there. W...hy put any availability on the site. The one that I did get was rough with the blow drying. She didn't speak english, and other stylists had to stop what they were doing to translate. The online price was 180. When I sat in the chair it's now 240 because I brought my own hair. She started giving me twists with curls at the end when I wanted simple straight twists. The hair that I brought was too slippery for them, so they asked me if I wanted to undo the few braids they had started and use their hair. In the middle of me deciding if I want to do that, Israela goes "I asked you a question". You would think they were paying me, not the other way around. The rudeness here was insurmountable. They had another stylist working on my hair ,Awa. She did nothing but scream on the phone in my ear the entire time. She even talked about how I'd probably write them a bad review. She trashed talked me and has the audacity to burp in my ear. They used buckets of gel, and now my scalp feels so sticky and dirty.I am honestly ashamed of myself for even coming back here, thinking another stylist could do a better job. Show more

The ladies were very nice and made me feel comfortable. The braids are beautiful however I noticed when I got home that my middle part was not straigh...t. During the process it looked a tad off but I thought it was due to the pulling of the hair when they were braiding. In addition to this they did not braid a small piece of hair. Show more
