Let me clear this up. I actually washed his hair before the cut — but the buildup and dry scalp were so bad, the white stuff still caked up even after the wash. His lining was already off before he sat in my chair, and his hair was hard to manage. I still gave him a full cut and did my best, and when he said he wasn’t happy, I didn’t argue — I gave him his money back out of respect. That’s on me too, though. I should’ve turned him around from the jump. I know better. I’ve been 5 stars for two years straight, and my real clients know the truth. I don’t chase money — I chase loyal customers and real results. I care about my name and my craft. You were the first and you’ll be the last. From here on out, if you come in unprepared — hair not clean, scalp not right — I’m not touching it. I have a standard, and I’m standing on it. Lesson learned.
