I recently had an appointment with Raiysa, and while there were some hiccups at first, I really appreciated how she handled the situation. My hair has... specific needs, and initially, the wrong products were used, which made things a bit overwhelming for both of us. However, I truly commend her for her grace and kindness throughout. She quickly recognized the issue, course-corrected, and remained professional and caring the entire time. That level of humility and willingness to adjust really stood out. So two days ago , I’ve traveled from the Bronx to manhattan to get a service done on my hair by Raiysa. With past bad experience with other locticians... , I decided to give Raiysa a chance to install my loc extensions for me this time around . When I got there she was really nice and overall she made me feel very welcomed . However , during my service , I thought my hair looked fine (I’m guessing because it was in a style so I couldn’t really see how the locs turned out ) . The style was very tight I ended up taking the style down as soon as I got home . When I took my style down I realized that she did NOt install my locs properly . The actual loc extension wasn’t crotcheted into my actual hair , but instead it was wrapped into some kinky twist hair and then attached to my natural hair with the kinky twist hair instead of the actual loc extension itself being attached to my hair . And then the loc was really thick and frizzy on top and wasn’t finished completely , and the end of the loc were really thin. Mind you I’ve ordereda loc size of 0.4 by the time she was done installing my locs look like I’ve ordered a 0.8 width loc which is a pretty thick loc. I will no longer book her services . I’ve had faith in Raiysa and though she was sweet and really nice , it’s a no for me . It’s like she started off okay and then everything was so rushy in between and after . 2 stars only because she was friendly and the price for service was reasonable. So sorry to here about your experience at the shop.... the additional natural lock hair was to secure the loc attachment being that we stayed for 6hr I don't feel it was a rush job. I did do a stress test to ensure it would stay don't know how theses came out also I asked if u had any issues to contact me but you didn't after the first review I sincerely thought is was great experience however after reading the updated review I feel terrible about your experience.. is there anything that can be done to make it better

I really enjoyed my experience, my girl girl came through for me!!! She went above and beyond to get my hair just right for my trip to Florida. We d...id it the day before the 4th, and I'm still sporting my braids pony long after riding rodes in Orlando and being swallowed up by waves on the beach....lol Thanks my new Beautician Ms R.
