I was in town for a wedding and needed a last-minute cut, so I checked out Next Level Dominican Barbershop in Monroe. Let me just say—these guys are t...he real deal. I booked with Javier the Barber, and he even took me in early at 9 AM. From the second I walked in, the vibe was on point—friendly, welcoming, and full of good energy. You can tell all the barbers here take pride in what they do, not just in cutting hair but also in keeping the place clean and professional. I noticed how the team is always sweeping up, using air pressure to clear hair, and making sure the shop stays sharp. I came in with long hair tied up in a ponytail and left looking completely fresh. Javier had the skills, attention to detail, and knowledge to transform my look just in time for the big event. He lined me up perfectly, gave me a fade that was on another level, and really took his time to make sure everything came out clean. What stood out the most was the team atmosphere—everyone supports each other, and you feel like you’re in good hands no matter who’s in the chair. The vibe is dope, the barbers are legit, and the results speak for themselves. If you’re in Monroe and need a cut, definitely check out Next Level Dominican and ask for Javier.
